and some arrests. as kron four's terisa estacio reports, during today's final vote, the clothes came off again. >> the final tally of votes before the san francisco board of supervisors was barely completed when all of a sudden take a look... those against the ban began to strip off their clothes... and one by one,iff's deputd out blue robes covered the naked protestors and lead them away. >> nudity is good! we are free to express my nudity. nudity is my right. you are harming people by not letting them be nude. >> this was not the first time, protestors have taken such demonstrative actions ... this was the scene a few weeks ago at the board of supervisors meeting right after the first vote on this issue... and here look, this is a protest staged in front of city hall several months ago. the ban will prohibit nudity from wasit dow nin plazas parks and side streets as well as public areas around the city. public venues like bay to breakers will be an exception to the new rule. supervisor scott wiener has pushed for this change in

witnesses say, the victim and the suspect were arguing just before the crime. they also reported seeing the suspect talking to himself. >> i know that they were arguing with the themselves. this happened around 12:30 on the afternoon on this platform that is only 10 ft. wide. a doctor that was on the platform to say that the victim was trying to protect people that he did not know. many people were trying to alert support personnel. she said she reform to 3-for chest compressions but it was too late. >> the witness on yowas describing what they saw. >> they were in a sheer shock. they did not know what was going on. >> the suspect was able to slip out into times square. they canvassed the area but

of kidnapping and raping a 16-year-old at-risk girl.. who walked away from her group home in oakland. 36-year-old gary atkinson was arrested on sunday.. prosecutors say, he assaulted the girl multiple times during a three -day period last week.. before she escaped and was found in san francisco. police say, the victim was resiliant.. and helped them track down her attacker. >> san francisco's board of supervisors has given the final approval to a ban on nudity in public places. several demonstrators stripped during the meeting to protest the decision. at least one was taken into custody. the ban is set to take effect next february. >> and another storm system is moving in to the bay area tonight. flood watches are being issued in several counties. storm- weary residents and repair crews took advantage of the past two dry days... to clean up from the weekend storms. janu is tracking the storm.. and joins us now with the latest... janu >> thank you, pam. light/moderate downpour which has been consistent but it is been overnight that the heaviest will press and. by midnight, santa

kron four's dan kerman has been inside that board meeting...and has the latest developments. this is fire station number 12 in martinez it's one of four stations on the chopping block >> this is not an easy choice not want to have to do but we're out of options. we will have to do the best we cannot even with the closure of these stations. >> the fire chief says closing these stations will lead to greater response times but he says over the last 4 years the fire district has seen a 32 million dollar drop in property tax revenue and the failure of a parcel tax at the ballot box means >> to try to find another resolution to keep the station open. >> but at a public hearing tuesday, mayors and residents of the communities to be impacted told the fire district board they must look at other options. >> this will leave clayton with absolutely no fire station and our city. we will be the only city in our

county that will not have the fire department in our city limits. >> we need to work together to find other ways to balance the district's budget. >> the board agreed, giving the chief a list of questions which they want answers to at their next meeting. >> we need to look at other service delivery options with ambulance providers, most of these are medical service calls. we knew this was coming. we wanted the fire chief 2% of us with other options. >> they will be back at it again for a another meeting on tuesday. at that time there could be a final decision and it will not be the end of it. in the 2013- 2014 budget is a closure to close one, two more. even one included in this city of pittsburgh. martinez, dan kerman, dkron 4. >>pam: three

firefighters who were hurt responding to a crash in the east bay, are out of the hospital and back at home tonight. orinda fire captain. michael rattary, firefighter paramedic kelly morris, and firefighter stephen rogness .... were responding to a crash on highway- 24 in orinda sunday morning, when an s-u-v lost control on the rain-slicked road, and hit them. the driver of that vehicle is still in critical condition. >>pam: san francisco firefighters are trying to figure out what sparked a two- alarm fire in the haight- ashbury neighborhood. the fire was reported at about 1-30 this afternoon, at a four- story victorian residential building on the 15-hundred block of page street. it took firefighters and hour to knock it down. no one was hurt.. but the red cross was called in to assist several residents who have been displaced. >>pam: former president george w. bush is making a new appeal for immigration reform. bush had pushed for an overhaul of the nation's immigration laws during his second term in 2007, but the effort failed. it would have combined tighter border security with a temporary guest worker program.
